# Via Network Testnet BTC

The VIA Alpha Testnet is built on top of the Bitcoin Testnet4 network. To acquire BTC tokens for use on VIA Testnet, simply request tBTC from some [Bitcoin Testnet4 faucet](https://coinfaucet.eu/en/btc-testnet4/) and send it to your Xverse wallet address.

After receiving the tBTC tokens on Bitcoin Testnet4, use the [VIA Bridge UI](https://docs.vianetwork.xyz/user-guide/bridge-btc-between-bitcoin-and-via) to deposit them to VIA Testnet.
